Today the Government has announced an omnibus bill; the COVID-19 Response (Further Management Measures) Bill. This bill includes proposed changes to the Arms Act 1983 in schedule 16 to allow a temporary extension to the duration of existing firearms and dealer licences which have, or are, expiring.
